I'm quite used to using the much more powerful 3DS systems SolidWorks. In SolidWorks, I can make, for instance a box (rectangle) of the approximate size and location that I want. Then I can put in dimensions both sizing and orienting this box. By changing these dimensions I can edit the size and position of the box with respect to other objects, construction lines, or the coordinate system.
Now I am working with DraftSight (which by the way whats up with the CapitalLetters) and it feels more time consuming, clumsy and awkward to model something in 2 dimensions than it does in 3 dimensions. How can DraftSight be more like SolidWorks?
