Default file location not being recognised

I have just installed and activated a copy of Draftsight Standard on a colleague's PC and set the default file location. Unfortunately, it instead defaults to the intial setting on C:\\ drive when trying to open a file. Is there a way I can force Draftsight to accept the new file location?

Also, the user has just changed his email address. Is there a simple way to change the email address associated with the license other than deactivating and reactivating on the same PC?
