The latest version of Draftsight is still suffering from significant cursor lag. A search of the iQuestions shows that this is a significant problem across a range of platforms-
Ubuntu
Windows 7 x64
Windows 7 x32
+
and hardware selections-
Lenovo
Asus
Sony Viaio
Dell Precision
MacBook pro
+
with the only common thread seems to be Draftsight itself. Comments such as “widespread”, “unusable”, “distraught“, amongst others are used in the question
There are presently 18 iQuestions from a search for “mouse lag”, alone, Some dating back up to 2 years, so I think it is safe to refer to it as a “Known” problem.
There is however very little, or no response from Draftsight.
1 Does Dassault Systèmes acknowledge this problem?
2 Are we to expect this issue to be addressed at the next release?

The link you gave me goes to the communities post page, I don't see where post 6389 is, and I can’t see any numbers on the posts at all?
I have uninstalled Draftsight including deleting files from the program data and appdata - local and roaming files. I also deactivated my license
I downloaded a fresh copy of Draftsight from the site and reinstalled
The mouse cursor still has lag
I am using a HP ENVY Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz with 32GB RAM
Windows 8.1 64 NVIDIA GeForceGT 640
My monitor is a 32" BENQ with 3840 x 2160 native resolution
There is no lag when I use the other 50 of so programs and apps available on my system, including 2 other CAD programs - this problem is confined to Draftsight alone
If I change the screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 the lag is barely discernible, but it is still there. Obviously I have no intention of running the screen at one quarter of its capability just to address the deficiencies of a single application (Draftsight)
I need to know if Dassault and Draftsight are going to acknowledge this problem and provide a time frame to resolve it
Please let us know if it is not going to be fixed so we stop wasting our time and any more money on it, and can start to learn another CAD platform
We need an answer to this !
