UPDATE3:  Found it.  Sheet crosshair and background were both the same color.  these were under 'element colors' in the display settings.  i do not understand why they changed with this update - my other customizations stayed the same - once i finally got them to import/load.

UPDATE2: if i am on the first page (model) of any drawing (new or old) the curser is fine (visible).  If i go to the next page/sheet of any drawing (new or old) this problem is there.  Is this a model/paper space issue?  any settings to tweak for this?

UPDATE: if i open to a blank dwg the curser is fine.  if i open a dxf of an earlier DraftSight drawing (i.e. everything i have done to date) this problem is evident.  so far no tweaks have fixed it.

curser ok in dwg area until i select a command, then it disappears in dwg area.  if i move the mouse outside the dwg area it reappears.  windows 7, all drivers up to date.  this problem only started when i moved to the latest update.  THIS HAS KILLED MY ABILITY TO USE DRAFTSIGHT.

a fix or setting tweak is urgently needed.
