I'm looking for any more-automated way to covert a group of Simple Notes into normal Notes than simply re-writing them.

The goal is really to avoid the '%%U' prefix at the beginning of underlined simple notes so that "My Note" doesn't show up as "%%UMy Note" when exported to an engraving machine. It appears the {\\L My Note} format does not cause the same issue with my engraver.
