When you first create a new sheet tab Print Configuration Manager (PCM) will automatically pop up. Any previously created configurations will be listed for selection or you can create a new one (select New) based on any of those that are listed. You may also edit an existing one (Select Edit) – just take care to check that the Print Configuration – [configuration name] at the top of the page is showing the name of the configuration that you intend to alter. You will have to use File < Print Configuration Manager... to open the manger if you have just returned to an already set up tab.
The sheet:
On each tab your sheet is represented by a coloured rectangle (default is white). The colour can be changed by selecting Tools < Options < System Options < Display < Element Colors < Sheet Background and choosing a colour of your choice. The size and orientation can be changed by opening the PCM and changing the size of the sheet in the Paper Size panel and the orientation of the sheet in the Geometry Orientation panel.
Printable Area:
Unless printing to the edge of the sheet is allowed, a dashed rectangle marks the printable area on the sheet. This rectangle is controlled in PCM via the Printer Properties button -- but only for some printers. Set top, bottom, left, and right margin sizes under Printable Area to control the size and placement of this rectangle on the sheet. If you wish to hide this rectangle (my preference) set all the margins to zero (0.00). This actually moves the printable area boundary out to the edges of the sheet.
EDIT:
Manar N. has provided the information that you have the option of displaying or hiding the paper background as well as the printable area.
Go to Options > System Options > Printing > General options
Coordinate System:
The World Coordinate System (WCS) icon is a right-angled triangle with a small square in the right angle. It is placed by default at the lower left corner of the printable area (dashed rectangle) and, when the rectangle is hidden as described above, will actually appear to be at the lower left corner of the sheet itself. The right-angled corner marks the origin of the WCS. The position of the origin can be changed in PCM under Print offset by setting appropriate X and Y Values. Note that any viewports on the sheet are positioned in terms of the origin and moving the origin after setting up viewports will shift the viewports as well. They can, however, easily be repositioned when that occurs.
Viewport:
A continuous line rectangle is probably visible on the sheet. This is a default viewport and is the only item discussed here that is directly selectable with the mouse. It may be resized by selecting it then selecting one of the four entity grips that light up on the corners and dragging that grip to a new position. If a second (or more) viewport is wanted on the sheet, reduce the size of the first and position it where it is wanted (Right-click < Move). Copy the original to the clipboard (Right-click < Copy or Copy with Reference Point) and paste the copy/ies (Right-click < Paste) where they are needed.
If you set up a master sheet-tab with all your regularly used settings on it for the current drawing-set, you can create new sheets containing those settings by simply copying and renaming the master sheet (Right-click on master-sheet tab < Move or Copy... < Select “Copy Sheet” < OK). This will place a copy of your sheet at the end of the list. You can also specify where to place the sheet but there may be a malfunction if you try to place it in front of sheet1.
Better still you can include the master sheet in a template drawing and then your preferred settings will be there every time you use that template to start a new job.
