This is not a question so much as asking for people's opinions, and apologise in advance if this is not the right forum for it!!

As a company, we already use SolidWorks and Altium, and the addition of a (free) 2D tool from the Dassault stable seems like an obvious option to concider.

Can anyone share their experiences with me of their move from AutoCAD LT to Draftsight? Are there any real advantages to be had for coughing up for the Premium version?

I would like to know if and how Draftsight handles dynamic blocks, tool palettes etc. created in ACLT.

Reading the user manual is all well and good but, in my experience, nothing compares to tales from the rock-face for finding out the real end-user issues!!
