The command window used to show all key strokes or mouse activity, such as save and the area and perimeter values after using Tools - Inquiry - Area.  I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer and have spent about an hour trying to change settings so that this dialog would show.  This new problem occurred after the download that so many of you seem to also not like.
