In addition to a print-problem with clipped images elsewhere in the community I'm even not up to printing.

My clipped images appear only as frames.  When I choose 'NO' under 'Miscellaneous'/ 'Show clipped'  within the Properties window the entire jpg comes up. Switching back with 'YES' the clip vanishes.

Is there a solution or am I doing things wrong ?
