I have oodles and oodles of drawings done in 3ds Max which I'd like to convert to Draftsight format.

All polylines in 3ds Max come in as plines in Draftsight, this has never been a problem.

The text imports from 3ds max as either a dxf or a dwg, and this is not a problem.

The problem is that there is no text formatting that existed in the 3ds Max text editor.

I created a simple test file in 3ds Max that has the text

FORMATTED

      TEXT

CENTERED

and it looks like the above

after the import as dxf or dwg into draftsight it comes in and looks like this

FORMATTED TEXT CENTERED

It's object class is Simplenotes

Is there some secret or script that will allow me to change the class of

Simplenotes into Notes?????
