Can t select entities near center of screen with selection box

UPDATE 2:

The issue is back. It worked for a few hours. I can't click near the center of the screen on my primary monitor, but when moving the Draftsight window to my secondary monitor, all is good. The only issue is my secondary monitor is vertical, and I can't work in that narrow of a space. It's a bug with Draftsight because my mouse functions normally in all other programs. I have also updated my Nvidia graphics adapter to the latest drivers. Please HELP! I may have to buy AutoCAD now. :(

UPDATE:

I have fixed the issue. I'm using two monitors and this wasn't happening on the other monitor. I unplugged both connections from my video card and swapped them around. This fixed the issue. I don't know why Draftsight was affected by this.

After installing the latest Draftsight, I have run into a major issue preventing me from doing my job. When I try to select a group of entities using the click and drag selection box feature, it wont let me release the green/blue box with the second mouse click (opposite corner) unless I'm clicking somewhere near the edge of the screen. It's almost as if my clicks don't register in the center of the screen depending on certain conditions. I can't even get the first click to register sometimes. I'm starting to wonder if something weird is going on here. I didn't see any other posts related to this issue.

I DON'T have drawing boundary turned on
I CAN select individual entities by clicking on each, even in the center
None of the entities I'm trying to select are locked, or frozen
I can get the click and drag selection box to work (release on second click with entities selected) when clicking towards the edge of the screen on the second click
I've tried different DWG file versions, and brand new files, to no avail
I've check my settings many times and don't see anything that could cause this
I've uninstalled Draftsight completely (all user folder files and registry keys)
I've updated to the latest Draftsight
I've tried different mice
I have no problems in any other programs
