Just Installed Draftsight 30 Day Trial to see if it will work as an Autocad replacement, but it doesn't find ANY files to open on my computer. I can drag a PDF or DXF to my desktop and browse from the import function not a single file is displayed. If I try "open with" Draftsight isn't recognized as an option. It also doesn't allow me to bring any files from my shared drive into that Draftsight Folder. I have the trial DWGs available. Does the trial not allow you full access to your computer files? If I can't determine that it's able to serve the functions, we need I can't convince the company to purchase it, so I'm stuck right out of the gate. It seems it had also deleted my Autocad EXE so now I'm having trouble opening any files, NOT A GOOD START DRAFTSIGHT.
