I have a CAD drawing of the 300+ plants in my gardens. Obviously there is not enough room on the drawing for anything other than a simple name of each plant. If I can create a layer of invisible buttons,or the like, I will be able to pull up information on any plant if I click on it.
As I see it, if Excel could produce a transparent spread sheet, each cell would have VBA code to do a look up corresponding information in Access. This array of cells would then be placed as a layer in the CAD drawing as the method to do a look up for information when clicked. Alas, Excel has no such feature and I wonder if I am only dreaming...
