Bonjour. A cousin of mine in his late 60s is a retired architect, who has been using AutoCAD in its french version for most of his career. He now works from home, and lost access to AutoCAD. He decided several months ago to switch to DraftSight, but is not willing to turn to "globish" language only to talk to his CAD computer... He insists on talking to it in the "Molière" language!! What is the best way for him to get help on DraftSight in French?
Specifically, he is having a hard time getting some "cotations" (dimensions) and some "décalages" (offsets?) done in DraftSight as he used to do extensively in his AutoCAD days. He apparently cannot get them to work as he used to in AutoCAD, and cannot find help from the documentation in "globish" language... He described to me some cumbersome workarounds that scared me as pretty unproductive...
What is the best way for him to get directions on DraftSight in French??
Considering all the french members apparently connected to this community, there has to be a way.. Que diable!
