I am using draftsight for architectural type drawings.

I would like to include some bitmaps from sketchup consisting of 3D views of the building. As i am always going back and forth from sketchup to draftsight i need to be able to update the BMP files similarly to xrefs. But whenever i reload a BMP it disappears leaving behind only its drawing frame. To make this even more baffling, often only half of the BMP files will disappear while the other half will update nicely.

I have tried many solutions to this including Full, relative and none settings in the path options for inserting an image, ensuring that the path is correct (i have even used the "Found in path:" dialog box to try and re-locate an image that has disappeared and it still doesn't come back). 

Can someone please explain the correct series of steps to import an image file into draftsight that won't disappear next time i open the file or reload all references etc. Thanks
