The latest news posted in the Blog about data extraction, (by Levi F · 2012-11-07) is that there is a problem extracting user generated block attributes.  Is this still the state of affairs?

I run attext and it generates an empty txt file.  The command line tells me that the correct number of entities are found but "0 records extracted".  This is after I struggled with hidden formatting in my template file, (p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; } **Invalid field specification Error) -- so I know that the wizard is recognizing my attributes by name.

I can see the attribute values in Properties when I select my blocks.

Any news?  I'm on a mac if that makes a difference.
