I wanted to produce a plan of my house, and thought DraftSight would be a good tool.  First challenge, draw a box 10m by 20m and print it out A4 at some sensible scale. 

Fail.

Having spent a couple of hours looking through several of the many tutorials I cannot work this out.  There seems to be multiple coordinate systems involved, some sort of mapping.  A boundary box that does nothing.  And very odd behavior when zooming the model view.  There are sheets tabs that look like they have something to do with it.  Needless to say I am not an AutoCad expert, which may be the problem.

Anyway, I would appreciate it if somebody would provide instructions how to do this trivial thing.  Or a pointer to instructions that make sense, and do not go off listing lots of advanced menu options without any conceptual background.
