I can't seem to change the background colour, even using the element tool, my cursor is also a black square so I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I have also tried resetting my profile to defaults, deleted and made a new profile with defaults still shows the same white background with a black square for the mouse cursor.

Any help greatly appreciated.
