I have just started re-using DraftSight in its new version on an up to date iMac and I am generally impressed.  Lots of things missing compared to current AutoCad but getting there.

However, I have come across the same problem I used to have trying to recover autosaved drawings.  I am set to save every five minutes and if you go into Preferences, you can see the saved drawing.  However, you do not seem to be able to do anything with it from there.  If you put the file name into Finder, it cannot find it.  I have set Finder to identify hidden files.  Still no luck.

AutoCad works the same way but the autosaved files do show up in Finder.

There is not much point in having this feature if it cannot be used.  I am quite prepared to believe I am doing something wrong but as I cannot see a solution in these answers that solves the problem, I suspect it may be an unresolved glitch.  Anyone know for sure?
