When editing drawings made previously in autocad there is problems with very slow editing - i.e. selecting & moving items that contain previously auto cad formatted MTEXT  - in my case window & door schedule. The text style is arial narrow with the tt font arial narrow attributed to it. This appears to be what is slowing down the editing i.e. moving stuff around. Anyone out there come across the problem too & any suggested fixs? I don't know if there are any other similar faults with editing drawings previously setup in auto cad?

I found also some frustrating slowness when working in and around XREFS - but found a solution best to detach save exit & reinsert the XREF in draft sight layer 0 full path, solved most of that problem - hope this text has a similar 'easy fix'?
