The AreaBoundary command creates extra vertices wherever an endpoint touches where the boundary should be created. See attached image where vertices circled with green are good and those circled with red are unwanted. This command should ignore (or give the option to ignore) any potential vertices that occur on what should be a straight line. This behavior actually seems to have gotten worse from 2023 to 2024. It used to only do this if the vertices of a *polyline* corner touched the boundary edge. Now it seems to do it for any and all lines. This is actually very inconvenient behavior for me that I'm hoping can be removed, please!
Note: this is in DraftSight Standard 2024 SP0 on Windows 10
