I've noticed this in previous versions of DraftSight and the new version did not correct it.  When a drawing that contains Arcs is saved and later opened, the Arcs are changed to Ellipses or rather part of an Ellipse.  Is their a solution to this?  How can I get the geometry to return the same as it was saved.  So far I've only noticed this with saving Arcs.   I'm using the latest version of DraftSight on a Windows 7 64bit platform.
