I am just a guy who has used the free Draftsight cad to map my roads on my acreage and tree locations, water system, and a few other things. I see where the free version will quit working in a year. I was going to buy the standard version but I see it is a yearly fee. If I buy the standard program and don't want to pay the fee in a year will it still work and isn't updated any more? Or does it quit working altogether if not renewed? For the rare use of it that I do, I don't want to keep for the program year after year.
