Why isn't it possible anymore in the Beta II release to open a dwg file as NOT read only?

I did not have this problem with the first Beta release. Every dwg file I now try to open (using the file>open command or by right-clicking in explorer) asks me wether I want to open it read-only. Opening read-only and than using saveas (other file name) does work, but opening that other file later on again gives the same problem.

How do I resolve this??
