Ok, the REAL problem I was experiencing below was that the Alias feature isn't working in 2015 x64 SP2.  I go to TOOLS>OPTIONS>UserPreferences>ALIASES and the list is BLANK.  I try to create something or import the default "alias.xml" file, and it literally erases the list after I hit apply.

Anyone know how to make Alias work in 2015?

The paid version of DraftSight Professional 2015 seems to NO LONGER use "standard" AutoCAD commands like DS 2014 did!  For example "L" comes up as an unrecognized command.  You have to use the mouse, or type in "LINE".

Does anyone know if there's a "legacy" mode or I can activate vs reinstall the old version?  Or does anyone have a LISP or Alias file they can send me and I can import?  Recreating the tons of AutoCAD commands in a file myself would take tons of time.  And AutoCAD commands like "pedit" I can't even find in DraftSight.

Please help!
