Hi, I am new to DraftSight and need some help please.

I have opened a dwg file that I now want to add scaled dimensions to.

The drawing is a building plan done at 1:50 scale. i.e. a line 125mm long on the page represents 125mmX50 = 6.250metres on the building.

I can use Dimension/Align to add the dimensions but the label appears as the drawn paper line length of 125mm. I want it to show the scaled length of 6.250metres

I have tried Tools/Options/Drawing Scales but nothing seems to persuade it to add anything other than the drawn line size.

Can someone advise me please?
