I have been trying to activate the "FREE" Draftsight software since mid January. This has involved probably 40 attempts, 3 reinstalls including one which included complete wiping of all remnants of Draftsight which involved not only uninstalling but also deleting all Draftsight files and folders and removing Draftsight from the registry. I really need a reasonable priced CAD software package to do simple process flow diagrams and Draftsight seemed to fill the bill. However, all of the time I have wasted to try to install and activate this software has made me rethink this. Also, the fact that there is no one to call to see if it is just something simple that I may be overlooking is frustrating. If you are a DraftSight service advisor or have some insight to what the problem may be, I would appreciate hearing from you. Granted, this is the FREE version, but I am willing to buy a paid subscription if I can activate and use this to see if it meets my needs. If not, I will look elsewhere. Looking forward to some helpful response.

By the way, I am running Windows 10 on a Microsoft Surface Pro Book
