Activation problem

My employer has recently upgraded to Windows 7, which requires us to upgrade our Autocad LT 2004 package (we have limited use of Autocad). Having found your Draftsight offering and successfully tested it at home, I suggested installing it on my PC at work as a trial. However, I had a huge problem with our IT department because we communicate through a proxy server, and they are very reluctant to change any settings. Eventually I persuaded them to a temporary bypass of the proxy to activate the software, after the trial period had expired. But after numerous attempts and reinstallations of the software, I do not receive an actvation email or even notice that an email is sent. According to your PDF I arrive at the "try a different email adress" step, which I do not have at work. My IT department says I must purchase Autocad. Any suggestions ?
