I have been using DraftSight 15 for several months and two days ago it stopped working.  I ended up downloading DraftSight 16 yesterday, but can not get it to open.  I get a msg. referring to error 1706.  When I clicked on O K I get another error "fatal error during installation" and it closed.  A saw a mention about activation.  I don't remember having to activate version 15 when I downloaded it.  If I need to activate ver. 16 can anyone tell me how to go about it?  And any info about error 1706 would also be appreciated.   Thanks,  Jim
