Hi, I just solved the activation problem this morning. It was driving me nuts. I tried the registry hack suggested - no good. Turns out that as I use Firefox I had to set Options/privacy & security/ Permissions to allow exceptions from https//www.3ds.com under "warn you when websites try to install add-ons". Within seconds I was able to register. Presumably this can be done under Internet Explorer as well. Still cannot get into 3ds passport for help - reset password email never received for that.
