Why I cannot add a point for tool number? Or how can I have a solution for multicutters?

For example I have a multi cutter in magazine number 6. When I need to use this cutter, I have an option like "T6.01, T6.02, T6.03" in my machine control unit. But I cannot write .01, .02 in the tool number.

If I only write 6, NC code give me T6

How can I add the other options for lathe cutters?
