We're trying to learn best practices for multiple-op setups Delmia. In most cases it is not practical for us to have separate files for each op.
To achieve this we create new 'Part Operations' for each OP. To our knowledge multiple 'Part Operations' cannot share the same 'Manufacturing Product'. This has been an issue for us because we prefer having only one 'Manufacturing Product' in the tree that every operation can share.
As a workaround we copy and paste the 'Manufacturing Product' in the tree, and associate each one with a 'Part Operation'. However on large assemblies this becomes unwieldly.
Is this the standard? Is there a better way?
As shown 'Part Operation. 1' and 'Part Operation. 2' must be associated with a unique 'Manufacturing Product'. Therefore in the tree we have to copy and past the 'Manufacturing Product', and associate each copy with a 'Part Operation'
