Delmia Cutting Tool Assemblies spontaneously self disassembling

I just had a meeting with @GL, @JO, @AK, and @DS and we discussed our cutting tool assemblies coming apart. The exact same assembly I was trying to show as an example was (at the time) behaving properly, and has since re-broken.

(Gosh is the pasted image quality this bad for everyone else?)

The Rigid.2 engineering connection is showing a needs update mask on the tree, which according to the documentation I have:

Appears when there are no error or warning and:

At least one relation is not synchronized.
At least one constraint is not respected in the engineering connection, or a component involved in the engineering connection has been moved since the last PLM Update computation.

I am able to re-green them all by just clicking the Synchronize Link button (second to last). And that sticks, but doesn't change the assembly or rid the connection in the tree of the red mask.

Running an Update (local or otherwise)

fixes it, but it 'fixed' it last time too, so I'm suspicious that this time will be similarly volatile.
