I am trying to make a board with a pattern engraved, and a number extruded inside., so the top of the board is at the same level as the top of the numbers.

When I created the "numbers" from the font tool, they were set on top of the main board layer, and I don't knwo how to change the position on the z-axis to have it one step lower.
