Hello again guys!

Here I go (again) with a question related with Engineering Templates, topic that the more I learn the more I like.

I have been testing the option Update Root after instantiation, but I cannot find the functionality of this. I have tried to instantiate a 3Dpart through a template, and at the instantiation I define the values of some custom attribute, which are differents from the parent 3Dpart. Then, after instantiation, I check the values of the custom attributes of the parent 3Dpart and they remain the same values. I thought that selecting Update Roots would change also the parent attributes to match the instantiated part, but it does not.

So, what is the Update Root option for?
