Can someone help me understand if there is an option to create a handshake between a 3DEXPERIENCE Variant/Option value and a CATIA V6 parameter?

My requirement is to control the pump casing rotation based on the pump orientation.

Ideally, I would like to have something like this:

3DEXPERIENCE Variant/Option → CATIA parameter → Rule → Rotation value

If the Variant/Option value can be passed to a CATIA parameter, I can use a single rotation constraint and create a CATIA rule based on the orientation value. The rule would automatically update the casing rotation value, and the pump would rotate accordingly.

Without this functionality, the straightforward approach would be to create the pump in around 6 different orientations, place all 6 instances in the assembly, and control them using 6 different angle constraints. This makes the model more complicated and difficult to maintain.

Is there any recommended method or functionality in 3DEXPERIENCE/CATIA V6 to achieve this Variant/Option → CATIA Parameter connection?
