Recieving STL file from CAD application for reverse engineering purposes causes any Catia mechanical role to import "weird" STL geometry. Also in Reverse engineering application importing STL does the same thing, so follow up step for creating envelope is needed in order to recieve better geometry. Is there specific application that handles STL import not just for review... @IK
