We are searching for a method to represent an assembly position (controlled via parameters), for example, a door in open and closed positions, in a drawing in two positions. If possible, the solution should not involve fixing a view on the drawing.

Working with slides: This approach does not work because once the parameter is changed, the assembly needs to be updated, which cannot be done directly from the slide.
