When speaking about concurrent engineering practises in 3DEXPERIENCE 19x OP, working on big machine where instances are added any given time in any level of structure while several users have sessions already loaded to notice changes in structure in Catia Assembly native app is A challenge.
Using B.I. Essentials will give status message that user have already loaded up to date information (which is not true since other users have added instances), also Global refresh and Selective refresh will give same status message that there are no modifications (which is not true)
In order to realize what has been added to the structure Catia Assembly user must close all tabs and reopen entire structure (load new session). Which on a big machine takes time and is shifting focus of the engineer from design & engineering work to worrying about noticing updates in structure.
Everything works like a charm on modification/deletion of already loaded structure, but noticing added new instances is a big pain for the end user.
In Help there is explanation of the mechanism but not the desired value for concurrent engineering teams that 3DEXPERIENCE should represent
