I have previously posted a query regarding installation variants in CATIA. However, while working on the topic, several specific questions have arisen. I would greatly appreciate your assistance with the following:

1. In Solidworks, undefined engineering connections are automatically flexible. Positions can be controlled through the parent assembly. Is there a setting in CATIA that allows this?

    

2. Is it possible in CATIA to hide 3D objects without affecting the drawing?

    

3. Why can't different engineering connection parameters (same engineering connection) be represented on different slides? Or is this possible?

    

4. Is it possible to define a stroke range for a hydraulic cylinder, for example, without setting the effective value? This would allow positions to be controlled through the parent assembly using the flexible assembly. If this is possible, it would answer question 1
