Today, I’m sharing my very first 3D model created in CATIA : my own mug, fully parameterized! 

Before starting my internship, I had zero experience with 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA. I had briefly used CATIA V5, but I was much more familiar with SolidWorks. Transitioning to this new environment has been a great challenge, but also a rewarding learning experience.

Thanks to the guidance of my internship mentor @Alain DUGOUSSET and the trainings available on 3DEXPERIENCE University, I was able to get up to speed and explore parametric modeling, ensuring that the dimensions of each part could be easily modified. This project was a great way to dive into the logic of CATIA and better understand its powerful design capabilities.
