Hi everyone, I'm working with step files these days in Catia V6 with 3DX 19x and I have some troubles because on 4 different laptops, I have 3 different behavior for the 3D preview while importing a step file.

The first 2 behaviors are just related to the visual style of the preview. I choose my step file on the desktop and click on 3D preview. Then I have 2 results :

- the tree with the full structure is displayed but I have no visual representation at all. I must expand each part up to clicking to the + sign near the 3D shape to make it appear (tryed on 19x FD01 and 19x FD02) and then I have the full representation with edges and surfaces of the part but I must do that on by one.

- the tree with the full structure is displayed and I have all the parts visible in some edge preview display (even if I switch to a shaded display mode) without any surface visble, only edges.

How do I change the settings to have the 2nd behavior on all laptops (edges only preview) ?

The last laptop has a bug where no preview at all is shown and a message says that a preview window is already opened whereas it's not true beause I just launched 3DX and nothing is opened. That's another problem I can probably escalate as a bug to Dassault.
