Hello everyone,

I'm a brand new Catia user (3DS r2021x version) and I'm still figuring out how I take advantage of this powerful tool to improve my productivity. With this in mind, I need your help with the following:

Each new 3D product that I design may be comprised of thousands of 3D products and 3D parts. Each product (and/or part) has to be named with the project code and folllowed by the component's name (e.g. "P3990_flywheel", "P3990_M24 CS", etc.).

Let's say I need to start a new project which is 99% equal to this "P3990" project. Obviously, I want to reuse this old project and just change what needs to be changed to avoid designing the all thing again!

Is there a way to copy/paste the old project and replace only the project name "P3990" on all products and parts with the new project name at once?

PS: Also regarding part names... how can I delete/hide the revision tag from the part name??
