Hi all, 

I'm looking for people who manage a large number of variants in 3Dx CATIA. 

I work with pumps and they often come in different product lines. Each product can have thousands of variant and i'm looking for a good way to configure this in catia.

Today in CATIA V5 and Enovia V5, we can switch variant using automation, ARM Catalogs and the EKL command: manageinstance(). All the data regarding which components and how they are constrained is stored in two DesignTables. 

So back to the question.. 

How do we manage all our variants..? Preferable in context of the Product..
