Hi CATIA V5 experts.
A client of us has a CATIA V5-6 2023 with CATIA V5 PLM Express Edition 3 licences:
CATIA - 3D Master – FTX
CATIA - Mechanical Shape Design – HDX
CATIA V5 PLM Express on 3DEXPERIENCE PLM Services – CAT3DX
CATIA - Knowledge Templates – PKE.
They want export 3D Annotations from CATIA to STEP using AP242. the problem is that in Option -> Compatibility -> STEP the 3D Annotations button is inactive.

We searched and found an article that mentioned the license SXT – CATIA – EXTENDED STEP INTERFACE 2 Product Server. Here is the link: Exporting 3D Annotations from CATIA to STEP - Rand 3D: Insights from Within

My question is - is this the only way, by adding this license, to export 3D annotations, or there are other possibilities?
