I'm trying to import a mesh so that I can create a parametric design based on the mesh geometry, but seemingly CATIA can't handle any mesh that isn't incredibly simple, giving me this error:

Also I don't know whether this is the best way to go about this, any ideas on the mesh -> parametric model workflow are welcome.
