Hi, 

I have a question concerning the lifecycle logic wihtin the 3DX. I'm unsure what the technical difference between a duplicate and a branch is. I checked the user assistance and there were diagrams for each elements which show the lifecycle path for an example part. But those diagrams appears to be the same beside the different icons (See: attachments). Furthermore, the command "New Revision From" works with both, duplicates and branches. So, I'm quite confused and don't understand the logic for those elements. 

Can somebody help me to understand the difference?
