CATIA Repeating Rib Issue

Hi, I’m fairly new to CATIA having recently moved from Solidworks. I’m trying to add a honeycomb rib structure to this shell, using a similar method to either (https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=DdDybWN1C1E) or (https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=2SOQpcksKD8), but am running into some issues. This is because the length/width of the pad forming the shell varies significantly based on parameter inputs, so the rib pattern must pattern/scale accordingly. I can’t see a way to make the first method scale with parameters, since CATIA doesn’t seem to allow for sketches to be patterned alone, and the second requires manual union trimming to ensure the ribs intersect correctly, whereas I need an automated method to allow for the resizing of the shell. The uneven bottom inner surface of the shell also makes a regular pattern operation impossible as the ribs would be clipping through the hemispherical indents.
