SolidWorks has this great command called "Fill Pattern". It allows the user to define a border that constrains patterned features. Is there any way to accomplish this *nicely* with CATIA? I know you can manually remove instances from a pattern, but this is extremely tedious and it needs to be manually updated if your border changes. Since this is a basic feature available in SolidWorks, I am hoping there is some nice way to do this in CATIA without needing to buy additional license, I would also need this to be available in an On Premise environment. I am also up for a solution using VBA or EKL if it would work.
