Hi there, I am currently an apprentice in the tool jig and die making industry and am hoping to qualify soon. My question is what is the best and quickest way I can learn Catia as my company has a design team using solid works, Catia and inventor but the designer using the Catia package is probably going to be moving up in ranks which will leave them wanting a junior designer which will be internally advertised . I want to better my chances at getting the position by knowing the program. The guy using the program has not got the time to teach me because of all his other responsibilities but he doesn’t mind me using the works PC to learn. Any advice would be great. Obviously at the moment I can not afford to send myself on courses and my company won’t obviously send me until I have been given the position.
